Hi, I'm Diego Fernando 🤜🤛#

I'm a software engineer, currently at iFood. I live in Piauí, in northeastern Brazil, and split my attention between distributed systems problems and deciding what goes on the next MPB playlist.

I hold a degree in Information Systems from the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI). Over the years I've worked across quite different stacks — Java (Spring Boot, Play Framework), Python (Django, Django Rest Framework), Scala (Play Framework, Lagom), and more recently I've been going deep on Go, which is what most of the recent posts here are about.

I like sharing what I'm learning — through posts, podcasts, or open source — more for the process of getting it wrong in public than for having the right answer from the start.
